Firearm Clean, Inspect and Lube for 1911 Pistols

This class will provide hands-on instruction for your 1911 pistol including:
- PPE for lead safety, eye protection, etc.
- The proper method of field stripping your 1911 pistol.
- Proper cleaning of the slide, barrel and recoil spring.
- Inspection of pistol components.
- Lubricating your pistol.
- How to reassemble your 1911 pistol.
- Function checking your reassembled pistol.
Recommended course materials:
- Your 1911 pistol (fully functional)
- Your user manual (if available)
- Cleaner/Solvent – Good quality, spray or bottle
- Gun oil – Needle tip applicator is best
- Wood (bamboo) shaft cleaning swabs
- A bore brush and cleaning rod or cable
- A patch holder for cleaning/lubing bore
- Patches sized to fit your caliber
- Lint-free rags or microfiber cloth
PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY AMMUNITION TO THIS CLASS!
