Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). \nThe Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies\, including how to recognize them\, how to call for help\, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2020 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid. \nIn the Stop the Bleed course students will learn: \n\nWhat is STOP THE BLEED®?\nWhy is this important?\nHow to recognize life-threatening bleeding\nHow to stop life-threatening bleeding\nGetting STOP THE BLEED® ready\nSTOP THE BLEED® resources\n\nThis is an eight (7) hour class (9 am to 4 pm\, with lunch from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm) at the Uncle Ed’s Outfitters training facility. \n\nCost and Reservation\nThe cost for this class is $50 per attendee paid in advance with registration. \nThe class is limited to 8 people. \nTo register for this class\, please stop by the store at the address below or give us a call at 805-461-5777. \nAddress: 8681 El Camino Real\, Atascadero\, CA 93422 \n\nCancellation Policy\nDue to limited seating\, we request that you cancel at least one week before a scheduled class. Check-in 7:00am – 7:30am. \nIncludes: Breakfast\, BBQ lunch with drinks and dessert. \nEvent: Participants rotate to stations including clay target shooting\, archery\, black\npowder shooting\, intro to air rifles\, game bird cleaning\, and a field pheasant hunt.\nRaffles offered to win great prizes. \nField Pheasant Hunt: Participants are grouped then led under close supervision by\nadult volunteers ensuring firearm safety and dog handlers with hunting dogs. Dogs are\nwell trained and used in the field for assistance with bird finding.
