SUMMARY:Basic Rifle Training
DESCRIPTION:Training Details\nThe CRPA Rifle Shooting Basics Course educates students in safe firearm handling and operation with a California specific focus on responsible gun ownership. This class is for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. Students receive direct instruction from a Certified instructor from\nbeginning to end. safe gun handling.\n– rifle parts and operation.\n– rifle cartridge components.\n– rifle cartridge malfunctions.\n– shooting fundamentals.\n– range rules.\n– shooting at straight away and angled targets.\n– rifle cleaning and maintenance.\n– continued opportunities for skill development. \nThis is an eight (8) hour class. 6 hours including a one (1) hour lunch break at the Uncle Ed’s Outfitters training facility. Final 2 hours are live fire. \nYou will need: \n\nAppropriate clothing\, footwear\, sunscreen\, etc. for the outdoor shooting range.\nA rifle you would like to practice with at the range (we will have loaners on hand too).\n\n\nCost and Reservation\nThe cost for this class is $175 per attendee plus a $25 administrative fee paid in advance with registration ($200 total). \nThe class is limited to 12 people. \nTo register for this class\, please stop by the store at the address below or give us a call at 805-461-5777. \nAddress: 8681 El Camino Real\, Atascadero\, CA 93422 \n\nCancellation Policy\nDue to limited seating\, we request that you cancel at least one week before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. We do not offer refunds. However\, if you need to reschedule your class (with at least one week notice)\, we offer you full credit towards the next class of the same curriculum. If you still cannot attend after the first reschedule\, you will be offered the next class of the same curriculum with an additional 50% charge. If you do not cancel at least one week in advance and you do not attend the class\, you forfeit the payment for the class.

The class will be held over two days with an expected round count of ~500 rounds PER DAY. \nWho is this class for? Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). \nThe Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies\, including how to recognize them\, how to call for help\, and how to perform lifesaving skills.
