DESCRIPTION:Training Details\nThe Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR\, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe\, timely\, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). \nThe Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies\, including how to recognize them\, how to call for help\, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2025 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid. \nIn the Stop the Bleed course students will learn: \n\nWhat is STOP THE BLEED®?\nWhy is this important?\nHow to recognize life-threatening bleeding\nHow to stop life-threatening bleeding\nGetting STOP THE BLEED® ready\nSTOP THE BLEED® resources\n\nThis is an eight (7) hour class (9 am to 4 pm\, with lunch from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm) at the Uncle Ed’s Outfitters training facility. \n\nCost and Reservation\nThe cost for this class is $50 per attendee paid in advance with registration. \nThe class is limited to 8 people. \nTo register for this class\, please stop by the store at the address below or give us a call at 805-461-5777. \nAddress: 8681 El Camino Real\, Atascadero\, CA 93422 \n\nCancellation Policy\nDue to limited seating\, we request that you cancel at least one week before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. We do not offer refunds. However\, if you need to reschedule your class (with at least one week notice)\, we offer you full credit towards the next class of the same curriculum. If you still cannot attend after the first reschedule\, you will be offered the next class of the same curriculum with an additional 50% charge. If you do not cancel at least one week in advance and you do not attend the class\, you forfeit the payment for the class.
